Overview

On moonless nights, the perpetrators drift downwards from the sky above in search of prey. Slowly descending in careful circles, dark phantoms passing across a background of faint lights of stars. For fifty years, farmers and ranchers have suffered over 10,000 crimes of cattle and horse mutilations. The attacks has been savage and surgical. No human has ever been apprehended and no acceptable animal explanation has been determined. Federal involvement by the powers in Washington D.C. dismiss these crimes as below their purview - something to be solved by those out there in our Fly Over Country. It's somebody's else's problem, they've got more important things to do with their tax dollar salaries. In a remote part of America's Southwest, a small team of ranchers have had enough and devise a way to stop the attackers. Unwittingly, their actions have pulled on a string that quickly unravels the shroud of mystery to expose a far greater threat to humanity than the loss of their cattle.
