His main research interests include the psychology of expertise and talent, the acquisition of first language and problem gambling. His research combines experimental methods with computational modelling. He has (co-)authored six books, including Foundations of Cognitive Psychology (2011). Marvin Schiller is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Ulm, Germany. His work investigates cognitive models for gambling and problem gambling.
