Privilege and Power

Overview

Privilege and Power is an insightful work that challenges even the most stalwart prayer warrior to continue to meet God in prayer, while building a sense of awe and majesty regarding prayer that encourages those who struggle with prayer. In this book, you will gain a clear understanding of the power that prayer has in your day to day living, while coming to a firm understanding of the great privilege prayer really is. God gave us a wonderful tool in prayer. But it is more than merely a tool. It is power to the Christian and a privilege that rivals any other opportunity available to man. Jones gives a heartfelt and prayerful appeal to the average Christian to pray. He brings the Scriptures to bear to show that it is not only the Christian elite that have access to this power, but all Christians do when they are willing to fall to their knees and seek God. Prayer is not just a tool. It is the greatest gift outside of God's Son, Jesus Christ. It is how we have fellowship with the Creator of the universe. Jones did more than write a book on prayer, he gave his heart. He writes like he prays-urgently. In these pages, you will discover that prayer is your Christian lifeline to all things spiritual. It is both the genesis and result of your faith and service to God. The Scriptures teach us that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Prayer is one of the greatest expressions of faith that a Christian has. This book will encourage, challenge, and strengthen your prayer life. After each chapter, you'll want to toss the book aside and fall on your knees, feeling the need to spend time with God.
