His research incorporates issues of privacy, surveillance, trust, identity, governance and accountability. Alongside CCTV, he has researched airports, recycling, traffic management and the introduction of new technologies to Universities. He is an experienced ethnographer who contributes to research methods teaching at the Business School. He completed his PhD (1997-2000) at CRICT, Brunel University, UK.
