He established his own press in Teddington in 1987 for his own work as well as for the Tate Gallery, Harvard University and a number of prominent artists and print publishers. He has been exhibiting at the Royal Academy for 50 years, and his work is held in exhibitions in Australia, Britain, Belgium, Norway and the US as well as specifically at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. He is Vice-President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and is author of a number of books about printmaking as well as a regular contributor to a variety of printmaking magazines and journals.
