"Intimacy with the Father is not possible without a strong foundation in prayer. I've learned the importance and power of prayer through many trials and tribulations. The Word of God held me up in my darkest hours. It is my heart's desire to see God's people grow in their prayer lives. We have been given an open invitation to prayer. John 14:14 says, ""You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."" Anything that we ask in the name of Jesus, the Father will do. The people of God are living beneath their means and forfeiting the treasures stored up in heaven because they fail to ask the Father for what's already set aside for them. There is so much that our Father desires to do in our lives, but we will never know it if we don't spend time in prayer. There is no better time to seek the Father than early in the morning. Morning prayer allows you to command your day and take control of the atmosphere around you. Principles of Prayer, 31 Days of Morning Meditation is a daily dose of intimacy with the Lord. It offers a scripture to meditate on for the day. This is accompanied by a message to bring further clarity to that scripture verse. The reflection is my own personal journey that will hopefully bring the scripture to life for the reader and help them to identify with the message. Lastly, I've included a personal prayer that allows you to speak that scripture over yourself. I encourage you to expound on the prayers, and add to them as it benefits you. My prayer is they will not just carry you through your day but through the course of your life."
