Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMaryanne Tate Maltby, MEd, MSc, EdD, is an audiological scientist, a hearing aid dispenser and a teacher of the deaf. She has a wide experience of both adult and paediatric audiology. After qualifying in Audiology, she became Head of Training for a large national hearing aid company, where she was responsible for the training of hearing aid dispensers. She also worked for five years as an educational audiologist in a special school for the deaf. Her lecturing career included teaching at Oxford Brookes University and working as Course Leader at the University of Manchester, and, more recently, at Anglia Ruskin University, UK.
