She has chaired the program committee for annual meetings of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. She sits on research advisory committees for the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Marc Fischer is a pediatric infectious disease specialist in Fort Collins, Colorado. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. David Kimberlin, MD is Professor/Co-Director, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases/Sergio B. Stagno, MD Endowed Chair in Pedaitric Infectious Diseases/Vice Chair for Clinical and Translational Research at Children's Alabama, Birmingham.
