S. J. Reynolds sees politics with the clarity that comes from twenty-five years in academia, business, and the military. After four years as a tank officer in the US Army, he continues to serve in the National Guard, with tours in Bosnia and Iraq. As a civilian, Reynolds introduces new technology to multinational companies, universities, and start-ups. He specializes in commercializing biotechnology, materials, and renewable energy. Reynolds holds degrees in American history and management and lives in New Jersey with his family.
