These types of activities simultaneously promote cognitive development and spatial and sensory awareness and enhance vocabulary/language and fine motor skills. Most importantly, working with a mentor or family member in a relaxed atmosphere addresses the social/emotional and affective domain. Gerald Robinson is the author of six books. As an award-winning architect he has built many models of buildings, but this is the first time he has designed a castle.
