Overview

Hello. My name is Princess Maent. I live in Castle Perigord. There's no television in my castle, so my Royal Storyteller tells me stories. Here are some of the stories I was told . . . There are no toy shops in Perigord so we have to make our own things to play with. Here are ten things that we made together. With some help you can have fun making them too. Check them out at @Princess.Maent on Instagram.

Reviews

I heartily endorse Gerald Robinson's delightful and inspiring book accompanied with paper model plans. These types of activities simultaneously promote cognitive development and spatial and sensory awareness and enhance vocabulary/language and fine motor skills. Most importantly, working with a mentor or family member in a relaxed atmosphere addresses the social/emotional and affective domain. Most definitely recommended for today's worried, hurried, over-stimulated (with screen time) child! --Kay Paynter, artist and retired early childhood educator and second language specialist

Author Information
