Overview

Aisling, the crown princess of the small European country Vyctorya, has been sheltered her whole life with only her lady-in-waiting, Florence, by her side. She has to be perfect for her parents, and she worries about losing their love, considering that she's a closeted lesbian. With her marriage to the Duke of Belare a week away, she has resigned herself to a loveless fate. Chava Burke, a girl from America, is reeling from her father's death a year ago which resulted in a move back to her mother's home country of Vyctorya. With the anniversary approaching, Chava feels more lost than ever with no support from her family, a recent break-up with her girlfriend, and a rejection from her dream school, Purdue University. One day, after Aisling sneaks out of the palace, the two girls run into each other and discover that they look identical. They agree to switch places until the night before the wedding, and with Florence, on their side, both girls are confident that they can get through the week with no one discovering their secret-until they start falling for people they shouldn't.
