Author Information

Sue is an English/Australian author currently residing in South Australia. In addition to her current publications through Little Steps, other works include a radio play ‘Over Shoes’ produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2007, and lyrics for albums by the Keith Hall Blues Band (now Blue and Indigo). She is also the bass player in the band. Sue’s love of writing for children is enhanced by the joy of collaborating with imaginative and talented illustrators to bring her quirky stories to life. Illustrator: Aaron Pocock was born in England in 1970 and has lived in Brisbane since 2000. A lifelong passion, art became his day job in 2007. Aaron has illustrated books, packaging, murals, tattoo designs and (almost) anything else required! A versatile artist, Aaron is comfortable using multiple mediums, working in different sizes and rendering varied subject matter. In 2011, Aaron was chosen to illustrate the Australia Post commemorative stamp set ‘Mythical Creatures’ for Australia’s ‘Children’s Book Week’ which was produced in a 3D capacity (a first for Australia), and coins were minted and spin off items made. Aaron is available for teaching, visits and events.
