Pretty Penny and the Tornado

Overview

This is an unforgettable story about a Missouri Foxtrotter horse. 'Penny' is a liver chestnut colored horse with a regal appearance and a gentle, delicate nature. In this book, the horse experiences and lives through, a terrible tornado. The book wastes no time in getting the reader involved in the life of the pretty horse, and in the tornado's devastation. The reader will experience the immediate confusion, as well as the substantial healing process, which the horse must go through. The story is told by the horse herself. The book allows the reader to experience the tornado from an 'insider's point of view.' This is a true story. As it unfolds, the reader will develop a friendship with the horse, the people who owned her and those who rescued her, and with animals on the farm. The reader will fall in love with this horse!
