OverviewIn the wake of the terrorist attacks or September 11, 2001, a Continuity of Government Commission (CGC) was established, consisting of present and former leaders and other recognized experts on the subject. The CGC was a joint project of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and the Brookings Institution (BI).
