Author Information

Raja C. Bandaranayake is a teacher and consultant of international repute in the fields of Anatomy and Medical Education. He has undertaken over 100 assignments within human resources development for health, advising institutions in some 43 countries on behalf of international bodies such as the World Health Organization, the World Federation for Medical Education, the World Bank, the Australian International Development Assistance Bureau, and the China Medical Board of New York. He is a former President of the Australasian and New Zealand Association for Medical Education, Chairman of the Examinations Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Examiners of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and Technical Advisor to the Australian Medical Council Examinations Committee. He has published two books and a number of journal articles.
