Presentation: the Greatest of All Career Skills: What 150 atop 63 Professions via ""being best presenter in our field"" Did, Invented, Mastered

Overview

This author has books on SUPREME SELLLING, HELP PARENT LEAD, BLURT TALK SPEAK that also, like this PRESENTATION book deal with communicating in ways that grow the presenter or leader and their audiences and workforces. In our era of untamed social media casually and greedily destroying teenagers and democracies, with their ""great"" techs, on their way to their next biggest yacht--presentations however shiny and ""engaging"" are suspect--most likely self harm wrapped in manipulate of audience brain modules to enrich others while hurting audience members themselves. THIS BOOK breaks that spell--it is pure, mean, powerful, as a SOLUTION that eradicates such American spawned mass media mass tech harms. We all know PowerPoints are the opposite of communication, they are powerful SLEEP AIDS. This book's author built a huge side business over a 3 year period, leaving them in his dust by presentation each of which got him HUGE NEW JOBS and payments from strangers in his audiences. He did not use Cialdini style marketing tricks, like those consumer product companies use to sell foods than harm--rather he refreshed audience lies and lives by dispelling all that harm. The book's contents all come from a vast study of ""excellence"" and ""expertise""--the University of Chicago Booth School of Business' EXCELLENCE SCIENCES project. 150 people atop 63 professions by virtue of ""being the best presenter in our field"" were given 2 hour interviews after filling in 44 page questionnaires getting the individual capabilities that got them to the top and kept them there. 50 best selling other books on presenting and influence and communication were bought, each paragraph main point marked, models across chapters points built, and fused across books. That ""stuff selling well"" turned out to be 1) wrong 2) shallow 3) the same from all books 4) from people great at selling used cars not helping lives. The author of THIS book was amazed that his competition was THIS BAD. So this book is rather simple and easy as what the other 50 books left out is not hard stuff but non-greedy non-profit-seeking non-self-uberalles non-persuade-the-dummies.
