As part of the team who had formulated policies for early childhood caring and education in Taiwan, Dr. Cheng has witnessed the development and achievements of early child-hood education in Taiwan. In her recent researches, Dr. Cheng took a special interest in interactive games on smartphone de-vices and multimedia applications, as well as children-targeted marketing, children consumerism and children pop culture. Dr. Cheng is currently the Dean of Early Childhood Care and Education Department at Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL). Dr. Tan Chee Lay is currently the Deputy Executive Director of Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL). Dr. Tan has over 20 years of experience in Chinese Language education. Since the inception of SCCL in 2009, he has actively participated and led researches and teaching work in the early childhood Chi-nese education. He served on the pre-school unit of the Commit-tee to Promote Chinese Language Learning, MCYS Early Years Development Framework Steering Committee, and MOE Advi-sory Group for pre-school Mother Tongue Language Teaching and Learning. He was awarded the National Golden Point Award, the Inspiring Chinese Teachers' Award, and has edited and au-thored over ten pre-school related resources and picture books. Dr. Lee Chee Keng received his Ph. D. in Theatre Studies (Di-recting) from the Central Academy of Drama, China. While re-maining active as a director and playwright, he develops a strong interest in drama pedagogy and early childhood education. Dr. Lee is currently a lecturer of Early Childhood Care and Education Department at Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL). Mdm Zheng Yingjiang has over 20 years of experience in the Chinese Language teaching field. She is appointed as a Master Teacher with Academy of Singapore Teachers, Ministry of Ed-ucation and a lecturer with Singapore Centre for Chinese Lan-guage (SCCL). She was awarded the National Day Commenda-tion Medal, MOE Service Excellence Award and the Inspiring Chinese Teachers' Award.
