She has been named to the Who's Who of American Women 2015 and Who's Who in American Education 2015. Dr. Beaty has authored several publications in early childhood education and recently published a series of children's books set in the national parks (such as ""Jarod and the Mystery of the Joshua Trees""). Her strengths lie in ideas gained from her travels, which include visits to early childhood programs in China, Russia, Poland, Bermuda, Guam, and the United States.
