The African church needs preachers who preach the Scriptures to bring people to Christ and nurture them in the faith. Yet many are failing at this task. I have no hesitation in saying that the greatest need of the Christian church on the African continent is biblical preaching. It saddens my heart that such preaching has become so rare on our continent. So I am excited that a book to help us get back to biblical preaching has been written right here in Africa. Joel Kamsen Tihitshak Biwul is Deputy Provost and Associate Professor of Old Testament and Pastoral Theology at ECWA Theological Seminary (JETS) in Jos, Nigeria. He has been teaching courses in homiletics for many years. He is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).
