Overview"This story highlights the positive impact that pre-dialysis information can have on optimizing the management of end-stage renal disease. This can take the form of ""patient choice"" of dialysis method. At the same time, we note the lack of visibility of peritoneal dialysis. This study follows on from a number of achievements I have made over the course of my professional life, in various hospitals and associations. In my ""home countries"" of Guinea and C�te d'Ivoire, hemodialysis is the mainstay of treatment. The abundance of treatment available in France opens the way to ""choice"".
