OverviewDo our prayers change things? Are our prayers really that important? Have our prayers ever changed anything? I believe the answer to all three of these questions is YES! Our prayers really do change things because they touch God and He makes the changes. Our prayers are important and our prayers have resulted in changes! Also, I believe that since our prayers do change things, then God, Himself, must not have known what was going to happen, or it would not have been a change. It would have been just what was predestined, or planned to happen. BEFORE you reject this as being foolish, please be aware of what the Scripture says in Proverbs 18:13, He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. Please read the material and give the Lord an opportunity to speak to you before you form your decision because this will have a great impact on you and every area of your future. We may get some new ideas about prayer by studying prayer, but the only way to learn to pray is to pray. We are encouraged to pray about all of our concerns in Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
