"Kate Ferris is a singer, songwriter, storyteller and music educator who grew up on a farm near Holland, Manitoba and enjoyed a 'free range' childhood. Her love of the Prairie finds its way into many of her songs. Kate and her husband, luthier Fred Casey, live in Manitoba's Interlake where they appreciate the sights and sounds of rural life. She is thrilled to have her words translated into the beautiful artwork created by her dear friend Mary Ann Tully.
