Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationWhen Bonnie realized she was managing projects, her penchant for planning and follow-through kicked in and she earned a Project Management Professional (PMP)(R) certification from the Project Management Institute. When she isn't helping clients wrangle their software into submission, Bonnie writes about and teaches project management, bookkeeping, and technology. She has a knack for mincing these dry subjects into easy-to-understand morsels and then spices them to perfection with her warped sense of humor. Bonnie records courses on project management, Microsoft Project, and QuickBooks for LinkedIn Learning. She is also the author of Successful Project Management, which won an International Award of Merit from the Society of Technical Communication, QuickBooks: The Missing Manual, Your Project Management Coach, and several other award-winning books. John Riopel has been managing projects since before computers became the mainstay of managing schedule information. As a Berklee College of Music musician, he began managing projects by handling scheduling and delivery of gigs. He graduated to managing projects for a major defense contractor on the Extra Low Frequency (ELF) program for GTE Government Systems, working on microelectronics circuit boards for the ELF radio's delivery. He was program manager for the Wire and Cable Services (WACS) program delivering fiber optics network infrastructure for Cape Canaveral and the Supreme Court among others. He is now a project management consultant and owner of PM Providers, a Microsoft Silver Partner and Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider (REP). He presents and records courses on project management, Microsoft Project, and Project Online/Project Server for LinkedIn Learning and speaks at PMI Global and Chapter meetings, and many other project management events. John holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)(R) certification, and Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications from Microsoft in Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management. He was awarded Community Leader for the Microsoft Project User Group. He provides coaching, training, and project management services for government and commercial customers.
