She graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1990 and completed a five-year internal medicine residency in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, China. She then attended the Graduate School at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she obtained her PhD in Toxicology. She currently serves as the Director of GI and Liver Pathology Unit and the GI and Liver Pathology Fellowship in the Department of Pathology at the University of Florida. She has published over 180 papers about GI and liver pathology in various scientific journals.Dr Jinping Lai obtained his MD and PhD from the Central South University XiangYa School of Medicine, China. He studied Molecular Pathogenesis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and completed his Pathology residency at NCI/NIH Clinical Center, USA. He currently works at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in Northern California, and has published about 170 peer-reviewed journal articles and many book chapters.Nirag Jhala MD, is a board-certified pathologist with strong interest and expertise in gastrointestinal tract and liver pathology, as well as cytopathology. Following his training at Allegheny University of Health Sciences and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, USA, he pursued fellowships in Cytology at Allegheny University of the Health Sciences and GI Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine, USA. He is currently Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, USA, where he also directs the Division of Anatomic Pathology and Cytology at the University Hospital.
