He holds an LL.M. degree from the Harvard Law School and is licensed as an advocate to practice in the courts of the United Arab Emirates. He has practised commercial law and related litigation in the UAE and other GCC countries for 16 years and has extensive experience in advising on GCC laws. He has particular experience in corporate legal structures, commercial banking, marine insurance and arbitration. He is the managing partner of Al Tamimi & Co, the largest non-affiliated lawfirm in the UAE. As the senior litigator of the firm, he assumes responsibility for directing the actions of the firm's clients through the court systems in the United Arab Emirates.
