Ross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Health Care Management at Appalachian State University where he teaches Health Care Finance and Introduction to Health System Organization. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from St. Louis University, and a MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Ross has four books in print, Practical Health Care Budgeting: A Concise Guide, 2020, Applying Lean Six Sigma in Health Care, 2019, and A Comprehensive Guide to Budgeting for Health Care Managers, 2018, all published by Jones and Bartlett Learning. His first book, Health Care Quality Management, was published in 2014 by Jossey-Bass.
