Author Information

Stacey Barrett is Director of Assessment and Evaluation for Pearson Learning Solutions. She has worked in higher education for over 15 years, specializing in the design of curriculum and assessments. Stacey holds a Masters degree in Learning and Instructional Technology. She lives in Chandler, Arizona.   Catrina Poe is AVP/Academian for Pearson Education and is located in Phoenix, Arizona. She is married with four children. With over 20 years of experience in the educational industry, she has worked as an administrator as well as a faculty member. She started teaching online in the late 1990’s and has taught at over eight different schools. She holds a doctorate in business administration, and her dissertation was focused on implementing online programs at for-profit, career colleges.   Carrie Spagnola-Doyle is Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction for Pearson Learning Solutions (PLS) and is located in San Tan Valley, Arizona where she lives with her husband Brian, daughter Marlie, and their dog Patches. She heads a group called PLS-CC, whose primary focus is the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of custom curriculum in all modalities. PLS-CC manages educational initiatives and creates solutions that span the higher education within the private sector, community colleges, state schools, k-12, government, associations, and corporations. She has been an approved online adjunct faculty member for University of Phoenix since 2003 and published her first book, Journal to Fulfillment in 2002.  Carrie holds her Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
