Felix Rojas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a member of the UC Energy Research Center and the Solar Energy Research Center (SERC-Chile). He received a DAAD-funded Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich in 2016. His research focuses on advanced converter technologies for renewable energy, smart grids, and electric mobility. Dr.-Ing. Edson Bim is a retired Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) in Brazil. During his tenure, he specialized in modeling and controlling electric machines, mentored students, and published a book, Máquinas Elétricas e Acionamento, 4th Edition. Dr. Javier Pereda Torres is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, member of the UC Energy Research Center and the Solar Energy Research Center (SERC-Chile), and Senior Member of the IEEE. His research interests include power electronics and control applied to electric vehicles, energy storage, ac and dc electric networks, renewable energies, multilevel converters, industrial applications, and motor drives.
