Four research hypothesis were tested and three were accepted. Both primary and secondary data were analyzed in the study. The central theme of this study is that child Mortality is essentially a problem of the poor, marginalized, vulnerable and uneducated members of the society rather than the problem of the rich, sophisticated, and educated members of the society.
