This book is written to be an instructional tool for beginner potters and a reference guide for intermediate and advanced potters. It has tables, charts and pictures to show the things that most artists need in a studio. There are also terms in bold that are connected to the glossary at the end of the book. Our philosophy on creating art is to give enough direction that you can feel comfortable moving forward to experiment on your own. We want this book to be a stepping stone to you becoming your own artist. We also recognize that a pocketbook on its own, even with amazing photography will never replace live demonstrations and instruction. For this reason, we have also created a YouTube channel and video links throughout the book. This is an ideal tool for visual learners to get the most out of this book and the learning process.
