Curtis DeCora is a Native American entrepreneur from the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa in Hayward Wisconsin. After attending Northland College (Ashland Wisconsin) studying business administration while playing collegiate level basketball, Curtis launched into the entrepreneurial octagon in 2009. After 8 years of government contracts, and workforce development sub-contracts, Curtis wanted to focus on small to medium sized business and economic development in tribal communities. Here, in 2018, Superior Marketing has now served over 163 businesses in 4 countries, and trained 63 sales people throughout the world to become more proficient and productive sales people for their own business and employer. The primary focus with Superior Marketing is to enhance tribal communities from an economic development standpoint. The primary motivators include job creation, economic sustainability, and diversifying the economic profile for less government dependency.
