As a mother of three children-one a senior in high school, one a senior in middle school, and my youngest starting middle school this upcoming school year-I get asked a lot about how they managed to ""survive"" their middle school years, and how I dealt with all the teenage moments. I'm constantly asked for tips, and as I was sharing them with my youngest son, I began this guide. I always tell parents that I don't have a magic formula, and I didn't get it right all the time with my two older kids.
