Porphyrios Associates is one of the most renowned traditionalist/classicist architecture, interior design, and urban design firms. Based in London, its practice can be compared to other distinguished, contemporary traditionalists firms on which Rizzoli has previously published several successful books. Demetri Porphyrios has an international reputation as an architect and theorist. He has taught at the Royal College of Art and at the Architectural Association in London, has been visiting professor at Yale University and was Thomas Jefferson Professor at University of Virginia. He is recipient of the most prestigious awards for traditional architecture, the Ross Award and the Driehaus Prize. He has been appointed to the Design Review Committee funded by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Great Britain. He is an advisor to HRH Prince The Prince of Wales.
