OverviewPorous materials captivate a great deal of interest due to their high surface area to volume ratio and utilization in different areas like separation, catalysis, adsorption, ion conduction and filtration. A large variety of porous networks have been developed using lightweight elements by means of strong covalent bonding. Significant advancements have been achieved in the recent years with respect to tuning of structure and properties of these materials so as to attain advanced applications. In this respect, the main aim of the book is to assimilate the fundamental know how about the synthesis, properties as well as applications of a large range of recently developed and commercially viable porous polymer networks. The book is a valuable reference for polymer, chemical, biochemical and materials engineers, as well as practicing scientists and researchers in both academia and industry. It is also a useful resource for postgraduate university students in chemical, polymer and materials disciplines, along with interdisciplinary streams.
