Overview

The word Pope derived from the Latin word Papa meaning 'Father'. Papacy, the head quarters and office of the Pope, have a classical past that spells from the times of Saint Peter to the coeval Pope Francis. The elderly Popes in ancient times were involved in spreading the religion and also on vindicating doctrinal wrangles.
