Author Information

Kelvin has been writing poetry and rhymes since the age of 11. It all started when his school teacher, Mrs Sheen, told the class to write a poem and she was very complimentary of Kelvin's efforts. This praise encouraged Kelvin to write almost every day since. Kelvin has had two adult poetry books previously published - Four Little Soldiers and My Sister and Me - but this is the first time that he's put a collection of his children's poems and rhymes together. A lot of his nonsense poems were written for his own two sons when they were young, and now again for his grandchildren, with their names cleverly hidden away amongst the verses. Kelvin hopes to make children laugh with his poetry.
