Polyurethanes Based on Primary Diols and Isocyanates

Overview

This monograph dedicated to polyurethanes, very important class of polymers. These class of polymers have unique physical-mechanical and dielectric properties and are used in techniques and different area of the farming. Application of these polymers is limited, because variety of monomers needed for syntheses of these polymers are also limited. They have relatively low thermo and heat resistance, low solubility in organic solvents, which makes utilization complicated. Therefore, polyurethanes with high solubility in conventional organic solvents and high thermo and heat resistance are especially important. This monograph is devoted to the introduction and development of the synthesis of new linear homogeneous polyurethanes based on primary diols of a new type of card groups containing diols. The properties of these compounds and the specifics of the reaction mechanism have also been studied.
