Polyester: The Indestructible Fashion is a picture book which explores the art of prints in collectible and wearable polyester clothing from the 1970s. Over 330 creative photographs of men's and women's clothing were taken in high-energy, urban settings to present this dynamic clothing that projects energy of its own. Today, in the late 1990s, the younger generation has embraced polyester once again! Not only are today's fashion designers clamoring to redesign the styles from the past, but the market is growing, too, for the exciting, one-of-a-kind, vintage pieces.
