OverviewThis book introduces and analyses different ways of studying sensibilities. It explores the global production, circulation, management, and reproduction of sensibilities in the 21st century and considers the link between emotions, body, and society. Emphasising the importance of addressing the forms of social structuration from a body/emotions perspective, this book aims to show the impact of the politics of sensibilities within the context of rules produced by social structures. The book will appeal to scholars and students engaged in the study of emotions, sensibilities, and social structuration, particularly from the disciplines of sociology, anthropology, and political studies.
