Overview

Contemporary Western society is in a state of internal disorder. Stimulated by progressive politicians and radical identity activists, and enforced through legal sanctions based on slanted juridical decisions contrary to an originalist interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, the rise of identity ideologies has adversely affected all aspects of the public arena. Long-established Judeo-Christian principles founding the classical liberal democratic traditions of both Western culture and civilization are under threat of elimination. The consequent political, cultural, legal, and philosophical confrontations are all mere expressions of the real conflict, which is that of the Judeo-Christian faith pitted against powerful secular humanist and ""new age"" neo-pagan ideologies in a struggle for the soul of humanity. This existential contest has its origins in primordial times, and indeed at the beginning of creation. The outcome, in the words of C. S. Lewis, is that ""human history reflects the long, terrible, story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy."" This book recounts the essence of that ""terrible story.
