Author Information

Bernard Lewis, Cleveland E. Dodge Professor Emeritus of Near Eastern Studies, Princeton University, is the author of over twenty books, including The Crisis of Islam: Holy War and Unholy Terror; What Went Wrong?; The Muslim Discovery of Europe; and The Emergence of Modern Turkey. He is the editor of The Land of Enchanters: Egyptian Short Stories from Ancient Times to the Present.
