He is Visiting Professor at The Norwegian Defence Command and Staff College and a Consulting Senior Fellow at the IISS, and author/editor of several books. Dominik Zaum is Professor of Governance, Conflict and Security at the University of Reading, and a Senior Research Fellow in Conflict and Fragility at the UK Department for International Development (DFID).
