Bobby Clinton was born in Madrid to a multicultural family from the USA and Spain. He attended school in Spain and Oklahoma and obtained his PhD in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma in 2024. His research focuses on peninsular prose with a focus on nineteenth- and twentieth-century essays, literary criticism, drama, novels, and short stories.
