Barbara Hanson Clark has enjoyed a diverse career with an emphasis on environmental technologies, first as a chemical engineer, then as a patent attorney working remotely, including as a solo practitioner. Her greatest joy, however, has come from raising four children and now being a ""Grandma"" to eight amazing grandchildren. She shares her home with Charlie, her golden retriever, and two charming cats, Freddy and Mr. Tibbs. Barbara loves traveling (including a memorable trip to Antarctica), capturing the world through photography, playing piano, and time with family and friends. She also finds inspiration at her nearby acreage-once a cornfield, now a peaceful retreat, complete with a lake, abundant trees and wildlife, and a little house ""next to"" the prairie.
