At twenty-six, the world demands a defined shape, but the journey to get there is anything but linear. PHOSPHENES is a collection of twenty-one poems that capture the friction between who we were and who we are becoming. Inspired by the luminous ""stars"" we see when we press our eyes shut, these verses explore the internal sparks of ambition, the shadows of heavy obstacles, and the gradual, beautiful hardening of a soul into its true form. Through these pages, the abstract becomes concrete. The internal pressure of growing pains transforms into a clear, lived geometry.

Akshay P S is a poet and engineer who bridges the world of technical precision and creative expression. A B.Tech graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda, his professional journey has taken him across the GCC as a Coating Inspector for TUV Rheinland at Saudi Aramco. Despite a career rooted in the rigorous domains of Production and Quality, Akshay has remained a lifelong devotee of the arts-finding harmony in writing, acting, and music. Originally an alumnus of Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi and Sandeepani Vidya Nikethan, he remains deeply connected to his roots and his commitment to social work. He is currently settled in Punkunnam, Thrissur.
