Shonagh Home remains a beacon for many of us across the globe as an embodiment of the Filí, an ancient Irish shamanistic art form of channeling the spirits through poetry. The memory, wisdom and connection to the unseen realms is alive in these pages. The medicine of the Shining Ones is received as we explore the written words within this book, and as we speak the words aloud. The invitation to find our way back to these paths of the Sidhe, the Shining Ones, to understand that they are a living current, this is the gift that Shonagh shares with us and a gift that is available to us all, if we just open our senses to listen. Here, we find our way back to the natural rhythms of the earth. - Cathy Coyle - Ban Draoi Shonagh's psilocybin inspired poetry transmissions are enchanting, lyrical, and transformative, and I love the meta-message of support from the unseen Faerie worlds, the promise of a return to the Garden, and the feeling you get about the potential and magic of multidimensional trance states and poetic expression. What I also love about this book is the rich historical foundation of Celtic Lore, with its banshees, bards and cauldrons, which illuminates how important a place Poetry holds for one who is on an archetypal journey-as are we all, whether we know it or not. It is through accessing one's poetic imagination that one connects with Nature in all its seen and unseen glory, including the Self- Nature, and that's where true healing happens. - Lakshmi Narayan, Cofounder of Awake.net, Creative Director for AwakeMedia.com For our ancestors, poetry, prophecy and magic were all one, and they arose not only from studying and mastering the techniques of wordcraft, spellcraft and divination, but from being in direct relation with the living world. Shonagh Home is one of the rare brave souls who accepts that calling in a world that has all but forgotten the true nature of poetry. This beautiful book is infused with the beauty and truth that are the flowers of a life of deep listening and sincere devotion. -Sen Pdraig O'Donoghue, Herbalist, Author, Poet, Teacher Through the alchemy of words, Shonagh Home guides intrepid souls into the heart of the shamanic ban draoi, fili tradition, where the symbiosis of medicine and poetry unveils the secrets of the unseen. Drawing upon the sacred power of mushrooms as plant medicine, she channels the ancient wisdom of the ages in poetic prose that resonates with the frequencies of the soul. In her exploration of the Celtic tradition, Home unveils the transformative potential of poetic invocation, weaving spells that transcend the boundaries of reality, offering a pathway to the inner realms where healing, inspiration, and magical knowledge await. The reading of her poems transports one into subtle altered states, where the very ions in the air vibrate with the essence of her words. In a world dominated by materialism and programmed beliefs, Home beckons us to embrace the timeless mysteries of nature, where the sublime truth awaits beyond the mist. Journey with her through the enchanted realms of plant medicine and poetic invocation, and discover the profound truths that lie beyond the veil of perception. -Vanese McNeill, Executive Producer of the Magical Egypt series
