Author Information

As a past Peace Corps Volunteer to the Caribbean island of Dominica, she facilitated leadership, community development training and capacity building workshops. Ms. Williams hosts a weekly personal development and coaching program in Dominica called the Hour of Power. She has self-published a book entitled M.O.V.E. (Motivated Optimistic Victorious Expression) which is a collection of public speeches delivered during her college career and poems from her study abroad experiences. She has studied abroad in the Caribbean Islands of Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, and Grenada with the Department of African American Studies, Puerto Rico with the College of Education, South Africa with the College of Social Work, and Austria with the Department of Urban Planning. Her passion for ecotourism and sustainable planning has fueled her desire to preserve the treasures of Dominica. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning.She is an avid nature lover and enjoys visiting eco-friendly destinations.
