Overview

In a world where humans live exclusively in mountain towns, the lowlands are dominated by octopus-like creatures known as Poctu. Poctu expert, Fritz Kolber, finds himself in dubious circumstances with his greedy nemesis, Cornelius Trindles, who incites a war with the creatures in order to claim their land for himself.
