It's nice and colourful and extensively covers the material. Most of the illustrations are excellent and worthwhile but occasionally they're a bit useless, like the picture of ulcerative colitis on p.192. It's very clearly laid-out (not just lists) with helpful illustrations and pictures. Clearly the authors know what they're talking about. BMA Book Awards 2008 - Highly Commended One of the best pocket surgery books with an 'all you need to know' approach.
